This adorable boy was signed over to the shelter for rehoming, after being passed around several times for some unknown reason. He acts very much like a cat in disguise, enjoying time on the back of the sofa in his foster home, and just hanging out, non-demanding. He is a snuggler and is fine with all sizes of dogs, and is also living with cats in his foster home. He has major dental disease, and is scheduled for a full dentistry on February 25, where the vet is speculating he might lose most of his teeth. Additionally, possibly because of his dental issues, he also has a heart murmur, not unusual in small senior dogs, but complicated by dental problems, unfortunately. Rocky is current with vaccines, is being treated for exposure to Lyme disease, and is heartworm negative. He was a brave little guy when he was microchipped, too, and really did not complain, other than squirming when the vet trimmed his inch-long toenails! We are hoping Rocky will find a most perfect home, one where he can be treated with respect and adoration, and be a loving lap dog. No small children, please, for his safety. We don't want him being dropped accidentally, or stepped on because of his diminutive size!
