Nine week old INDIA was rescued a month ago by a crew working in English Park in Altavista. She had all but totally crashed, with her body temperature just over 98° instead of the normal 101 to 102. We kept her warm, and the following day took her to the vet for two or three days of care. She could not maintain body temperature and had to stay close to a heating pad for two or three weeks. Fast forward to this morning: Look at her now! She is healthy, eating like a pig, and ready to make her way into the world. If you’re looking for a wonderful attractive and appreciative black female kitten, please consider India! Her foster mom adores her but has many other kittens to care for as well. The fee to adopt from a foster home is $80, and includes spay, age-appropriate vaccines, and a microchip when it’s time. India has already been tested for feline leukemia/feline aids and is negative. Now she dreams of exploring and making new friends! Applications may be found at Friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
