Who is the cutest, most spoiled, special-needs kitten ever? If you haven’t met Finley, you wouldn’t even be able to guess! This little fella is ultra special because he is a survivor of what has taken the lives of other cats: hiding under the hood of a car in the engine compartment! It left his jaw broken, so our friends at Rustburg Veterinary Clinic wired his jaw shut while it healed, and took care of neutering, testing for FelvFIV, and vaccines at the same time. It’s likely that within the next couple of years, Finley will require some dental work due to his facial/jaw damage, so we want to be transparent with prospective adopters about that medical care requirement. Finley needs to eat soft canned food only, as he doesn’t have the ability to chew due to the damage to his jaw. If you have another cat who might have the same special need, Finley would be a great companion! He is playful, and seven months is already neutered, litter box trained, and extremely social with both humans and cats. As always, we begin with an application which will be forwarded to his foster family for review. Finley is not st the shelter: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Please note that we do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice, and unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County or counties touching Campbell.
