Ten pounds of personality, rolled into a little black bundle of love! Bolt is an active one-to-two year old boy, neutered, up to date with vaccines and HW testing, and in a foster home waiting for the perfect home to take him in. Here's what he whispered in my ear: "I'd like a home with teenagers who will play with me and teach me tricks! I love playing with my toys and having someone toss them for me to fetch." Bolt earned his name because, well, he will BOLT out the door if you are not watching carefully. For this reason, we want Bolt's new home to have a physical fenced in yard, where he can safely go out to play and potty without his people worrying about him taking off into the sunset. Because he is a bit handshy, his family will also need to give him plenty of time to get comfortable with them. He has decided it's fun to chew on human hands so needs continued instruction and training for appropriateness in play. He is a ball of energy and would thrive if his home had another dog his own age who liked to play hard before resting. As far as resting... he's not a lap dog, but he is a snuggler and will be your best "next to your lap" dog ever. He has been in foster care since the beginning of April, and his foster mom adores him. He is 98% housetrained, but has learned to use pee pee pads if needed to get through the day! He is great with other dogs, but the ones at his foster home are older and not into play the way that Bolt would like. Fee to adopt: $250.
