Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Small Learn more about the Chihuahua.
This little man came to our care after a citizen in the county found him injured and sponsored his emergency veterinary care. He has a broken pelvis, one side only, and was bruised pretty good as well, so we assume he was hit by a car. He is making fabulous recovery with healing, due to forced inactivity. He sits in the corner of the main living area of the house, policing all the other dogs as they come and go, and making sure they do what they are supposed to do. He is quite friendly with the others, and seems fine with felines as well. He needs a couple more weeks of rest, but then can be neutered and adopted. He will need someone to gently remind him what "housetrained" means, as it would appear he has not had the opportunity to be inside until this foster home took him in. Festus PEANUT is about five years old, and ten pounds! Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
