We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Glimmer is in a foster home where she lives with several other dogs, and is going through basic training.  GLIMMER is a lovely devoted girl who not only appreciates her humans as caregivers, she also respects them as the provider of all that is good. She absolutely loves being in water, and a wading pool seems pretty small for her once she makes her entrance. It's amazing seeing a shepherd who loves to duck her head under water in the name of playtime! What a wonderful dog!  She is being trained to "give," so she will not feel she has to be the boss of everything in the world, and she is excellent with humans. Sometimes she doesn't want to share with other dogs, but in the right home where the family is experienced and will continue her training, it will not be a problem.

Best match for her: young active couple or single mom or dad, who love to hike. GLIMMER can't wait to get outside on a leash! Adventures of all sorts await you if you are the one to take her home, as she will see to it. She is truly a dog with whom  to celebrate every day you are alive!
