Located in Campbell County, Virginia. Please begin with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. We place calls to your vet, your landlord, and your personal reference. We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Sam is one of four puppies who have made their way into a foster home, and are prospering from the experience. They are social with other dogs and are happy to have the companionship of all sizes and ages of foster siblings, so they can continue learning excellent manner and social skills from other dogs. They are getting daily hugs and kisses from their foster mom, too. and are learning about outside potty time.  They love to wrestle, and then collapse in a heap!

Sam is the leader. He's the puppy who is most trusting and confident, and who wants to check out everything! The others in the litter look to him to be the one who attempts the new and daring adventure! He is even tempered and very lovable.

Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption.  Please start the adoption process with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
