Rocky is an amazing dog picked up as a stray on 10/3. He is not wearing a collar, so will be available for adoption on October 9, if he is not reclaimed. He is smart as can be, and already has been trained to sit, walk nicely on a loose leash, and not jump on people. He is about 75 pounds, and is probably between one and two years old. He is already neutered, too. Rocky has no qualms about making friends with everyone he sees. To adopt, please contact the county facility at 434.821-4416, or email us at ccac.adopt@yahoo.com. If you live out of the area, in a county not including or touching Campbell County, you will need to either arrange sterilization at our local spay/neuter clinic before picking up your new pet, or have your pet transferred to a local rescue for adoption.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
