German Shorthaired Pointer (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Large Learn more about the German Shorthaired Pointer.
Lady Kmere is a young adult dog who came to us from a family who had her for only six weeks. She is a bit flighty and is handshy so we are careful to reach for her under her chin instead of over her head. Her family said that she did not want to stay on the farm, and that was why they delivered her to the county control facility. She is current with a rabies vaccine and we have the proof of that. She would probably settle down more easily if she was spayed, and that would be the number one requirement for whoever decides to take her home. Lady may be housetrained; we will continue observing and watching for that aspect of her personality. She did enjoy coming in to the office at the facility and that was the easiest place for us to get photos. She does not have a cropped tail; she weighs about 52 pounds, and is one to two years old. Please contact the facility at 434.821-4416 to adopt.
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
