We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Love this dog! Originally, I wasn't so sure, because it appeared that she had been kept chained up until she broke free and was picked up as a stray by the ACO's. She was really obnoxious at first, so thank goodness another volunteer encouraged me to give her a break and time and see what happened. Lanie is now in "free spirit" mode. She loves to run, run, run! She is alert but not pushy. When she met a cat for the first time, she really had no clue how to act, so we were thrilled that she was not aggressive and did not demonstrate high prey drive toward it. She is bouncy and will need training but she is such a nice medium-sized dog, she should fit in any household prepared for an active juvenile.
