Gordon GoldenDoodle is an amazing rescue boy! When his owner died, the surviving family took Gordon to their local county pound and dumped him there. Gordon was matted, covered with ticks and fleas, and reddish colored from the mud in his living quarters. We doubt he had ever been inside a home. Gordon is not even his given name, but we anointed him with it, and he seems to respond just fine. He is 60 pounds of love and energy, but he has learned in just a week to settle down and become calm in his foster home, where he has regular visits from a three year old as well as an older visitor. He can manage to live with all ages, but may be a little too energetic for smaller children. Gordon is being treated for tick diseases, but he at least is heartworm free. He will be neutered on June 27, and ready for adoption following. His foster mom says he loves playing with her two dogs in the fenced yard, and sleeping in a crate at night! This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility.
