About Peppermint Patty

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brown/Chocolate
1/4/14: Transferred to rescue in Orange, VA. Peppermint Patty came in as a stray with her son, Charlie Brown. Both are Shepherd/Collie mixes. They are wonderful dogs and both walk extremely well on a leash. We are hoping their owner reclaims them soon, but if not, they will be available for adoption soon. Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases. For information on adopting this animal who is in care at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please call there: 434.821-4416. Hours are from 12 to 5 on weekdays and 11 to 4 on Saturday. Email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Please "like" us on FaceBook to see more of the available pets in care with our organization. Go to Friends of Campbell County Animal Control on Facebook.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
