Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Small
GLADYS is a senior beagle who arrived as a stray at the animal control facility many months ago. She was dragging a piece of tie-out wire, and could barely move. Her issue appeared to be that she had been tied up for so long she had little muscle development and her legs had all but atrophied. This nearly blind, nearly deaf senior was taken in to a foster home and loved, fed, and vetted. She needed all those things in order to realize there was still some life left in her little soul and she was going to enjoy every minute she could squeeze out. So now Gladys has six beagle girlfriends to follow around every day, and she has a routine. Both are important for this senior in particular, whose health, rather then declining, is actually on the upside. Oh, that every senior dog could be this lucky! Interested in adoption? Contact us by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
