Located in Campbell County, Virginia. Please begin with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. We place calls to your vet, your landlord, and your personal reference. We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Meet Baby Mika. She and her 9 week old siblings came together to the shelter and are entertaining all that pass their cage. Check out their cute video! To adopt Mika, just fill out an application and come to the shelter to meet her. To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
