7/16/14: Transferred to Green Dogs Unleashed.
Jeffrey came in as a stray from the corner of Bear Creek and Pigeon Run Rd. He is 6-7 months old. He was a bit scared and shy when he fist came in, but with the love and attention from our volunteers, (especially one particular young lady), he has become more comfortable. He probably has never been on a leash before but did great his first time out with one. He is a beautiful dog and will be available for adoption once his hold time is up.
The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
