Great Pyrenees : : Male : : Adult : : X-Large Learn more about the Great Pyrenees.
RECON is fascinating to watch... and fun to work with! He is a 60-pound Great Pyrenees who is happily running and bouncing around a foster home while he waits for a new family to pick him out. He is eighteen months old, housetrained and crate trained, but even more important he is well-rounded as far as being able to socialize with other dogs, livestock, and kids who aren't nervous around big dogs. You can see from the brief video that he lives in harmony with another Pyreneese, a goat and a couple of sheep. He is neutered, current with vaccines, and loves having a huge fenced area in which to run! Our process begins with an application. You can find that on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org If you live outside our local adoption area of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County, and the pet you want to adopt is not spayed or neutered, special arrangements will need to be made for adoption. While there is no fee for adoptions of animals held in the Campbell County Shelter, there is a fee for dogs and cats in foster care. The fees range from $75 to $300. Check out our Facebook page, too! Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
