Red is one of three hounds picked up by a well-intentioned citizen driving through the rural part of our county. Red and two companions were in the Goat Island/Long Island Road area. They are socialized, well fed, and healthy hounds. They are unlike many of the hounds that are lost and have not been able to find their hunters. We feel certain they belong to someone in that area. Please share and help us get them home! It can be the longest shot possible, but we don’t think they were on the road very long, as they are not raggedy, dirty, or tick-infested, and their feet are not raw from running. Probably they just made a quick escape, and were not far from home. Get the word out and let’s get them home! 434-821-4416.
