Domestic Long Hair / Mixed (long coat) : : Male : : Baby : : Medium
One of three kits brought to the shelter by a county resident who has been trying—desperately!— To get the feral mom trapped in order to get her spayed. every time Mama produces kittens, this devoted resident does her best to contain the kittens, handle them, and bring them to us for rehoming. We commend her for that work, and we wish there was a way to help her get the mother cat as well. In the meantime, her kittens are healthy and happy and have all been able to be rehomed. Travis is extra special due to a congenital disformity, which is unusual but not a disability for him. .You see, his right rear leg below the knee faces backwards. Because he is being fostered at one of our local vet hospitals, the vet said she will take a look at it on Monday. The condition (being backward) has not kept Travis from his normal kitten activities, and we were told he can climb a tree right along with his siblings. Watch for updates.
