Fritz is 15 years old. He has outlived two senior owners, and we don’t want him to have to adjust to yet another period of grief for that same reason. He is neutered, housetrained, takes treats gently from fingers, bounces when he walks, and when he wants to get your attention and get a treat, he will bounce his front feet up and down, waiting and excitedly begging!

From all appearances, he is vision impaired, and doesn’t hear really well either. We would never recommend a home with small children for a dog with vision issues who has lived only with elderly. And we don’t think he’s very fond of other dogs or cats so he needs to be the one and only in his home. We feel a rescue is probably his best option, but if a local family is willing to take him on, we would certainly consider it. We will be able to give you more details about his personality if you fill out an application for us, but do not feel like we need to spell it all out right here for everyone.
