Vizsla / Mixed (medium coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Large
Rojo appears to be about two years old, and was brought in as a stray. Here’s what his foster hostess says about his adjustment to her house: “Rojo----what can I say except...he is a good big boy!! He is familiar with vehicles and jumped right up in mine and sat down. He enjoys riding and sticking his head out the window (of course he had a doggie seat belt on) He walked and trotted around our fenced in yard sniffing and marking.....he has never tried to get out of the fence. He enjoys treats and can catch them. Someone has taught him "sit " and "shake" (he will place his big paw up on my lap for me to shake). He is familiar with being inside a house and was whining to get inside. Once he checked the room out, he lay down near me and felt comfortable enough to fall asleep. He is beautifully housetrained.” He had not been really great with big dogs, but has been fine with smaller ones, and really enjoyed playing with a couple of the stout 10-week old puppies last week. Additionally, he is superb with the smaller dogs at his foster family's home, both the male and the female. He is, in his foster mom's words, PERFECT.
