“Jason Jack Jones” showed up at a home in the 1400 block of Bedford Avenue, Altavista, yesterday. He was popular with the family of young children there, who came up with his name for us to use while he is at the shelter. We know this big boy is someone’s dog because he is into humans and was not happy about being put in a kennel run last night. With the storms moving through, lots of dogs have been straying, and have had a hard time getting back home without assistance. If this is your dog, we are taking good care of him, but we would love to have him back with you. he has a beautiful blue color, has no collar or microchip, and is strong as an ox! Please call the shelter to make arrangements to pick him up! 434-821-4416.
