UPDATE from the Foster Mom: Friends of Campbell County Animal Control foster dog Frankie, aka Francine, cuddling with me before dinner time. Today was a lowkey day where she and the rest of her housemates relaxed at home with occasional time spent outside to let off a little energy. Frankie currently lives with 5 other dogs ranging in size from 11 pounds to 75. Her BFF in the house is our female Weimaraner. She is extremely respectful of our curmudgen older dog (the 11 pounder). P. S. She LOVES swimming! - - -

Frenchy (Frankie) is an 8-month old shepherd/ black mouth cur mix, newly spayed, and needing a home. (We think her nick name FRENCHY is much better suited to her!) Her tail was broken when she was born so was amputated when she was tiny. It doesn’t seem to bother her in the least that she has no tail to wag, because she still has her happy butt. She seems fine with other dogs, and is crate trained, but her caregiver said she knows she needs more than what she can offer. Frankie is at the shelter but we are jampacked with beautiful dogs, and hope she can find a home soon.  If you’re interested in meeting her, please start with an application found on our website at www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
