Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Medium
UPDATE: O’Malley returned from his stay at the vet office, wearing a cone to prevent him from exploring the stitches in his now-stubby tail or his neuter incision. O’Malley is a young dog who had “happy tail syndrome” during his earlier stay at the shelter, which left the tip of his tail continually bloodied and raw. He also had issues with his skin being red and inflamed, but that has also been rectified during his vet stay. We are happy to welcome him back looking happy and healthy!

O'Malley is a happy boy, and is in need of a tail-bob to relieve his continually bleeding tail tip, caused by happily wagging his tail on a continual basis. Yes, we are so glad he is not despondent about being at the shelter, but we just can't keep him from letting us know how thrilling life can be! He is now being treated for the allergic skin issues he presented, and he is not the thin, must-eat-everything-in-sight boy who first arrived in our care. HE will be neutered, have his tail amputated, and will be well on the way to no-skin-issues by the end of the week next week! He seems to like other dogs, and adores humans! He's trying hard to be housetrained, too!
