Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Medium
Billie Jean is a sweet senior who is housetrained and good with other dogs. She is overweight despite being on a limited intake diet and regular walks for exercise, and we hope she will get a chance to be someone’s forever dog. She has enjoyed life in a multi-dog household, first with her human mom (who moved into assisted living and was unable to take any of her canine family with her) and now in her foster home, where there are hounds, a husky mix, and a small dog as well. Billie is adaptable and goes with the flow! She can handle steps (she loves sunning on the deck and climbs steps to get to her prized spot) she has not been with cats since her arrival in our care, so we can’t tell you how she would do. However, in her previous home, she most likely interacted with them, as her mom was known for her cat and dog rescues. Please consider this girl for your next family member!
