How often do we find a 45 pound lap dog who wants to snuggle and be your best friend? It’s not all that common at the shelter because so many dogs are standoffish till they get to know us. Liam was different from the very beginning— he made it clear that his desire was to be a lapdog and nothing but! Not only was this boy good with humans by showing affection in a gentle, sweet manner, he also is great with other dogs. That was the biggest surprise of all to us after hearing him whining and carrying-on when others went by his kennel run. It turns out he wanted company! He probably came from a home with other dogs where he was the best friend/companion/lover boy. How can he be in a shelter and not have been reclaimed after all these weeks? He is so perfect. The only thing not snuggly about him is that he likes to lick faces, yet some people find that adorable. We sure do!
