Abby is back in our care, and wishes for a home where there are happy children coming to visit! When Abby first came to us, she was a 5 year old whose family  of one year just felt they couldn't care for her any longer. She was adopted twice, each time for 18 months, and now she is back again. She absolutely loves people, and toddlers and young children delight her more than anyone else! She walks ever so nicely on a leash, and is really wishing she could find an active adopter who would take her for brisk walks on a regular basis to help her shed a few unwanted pounds.  When she was first fostered, she showed how much she loved to snuggle on the sofa with her foster family. She had not paid any attention to the cats in that first foster home.  At the time, she did enjoy being around respectful dogs but that changed  and now she is grumpy and not happy when other dogs are around. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and current on heartworm prevention, current on flea and tick prevention, she is up-to-date on DHPP, Bordetella, and rabies vaccinations. She has won the hearts of the staff at the facility by rolling over on her back, and inviting them to rub her belly!   Abby's last adopter was inactive, and she gained over 20 pounds sharing the sedentary life style, so we hope she can fnd an active family to help her shed those unneeded pounds!
