We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

RAPUNZEL loved being carried and carted around this evening and she didn't get a chance to let down her hair! She is a happy and cuddly eight week old who needs a home. She is at the shelter.

Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption.  Please start the adoption process with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
