Kiwi is loving her foster home—where she gets to run in a pack of big dogs, and thinks of herself as a smallish herding Malinois! yes, she lives with a Malinois and is a wanna-be whatever! Most likely her breed mix is cattle dog and dachshund, (she is only 25 pounds!) but don’t try to tell her that. She has a big dog attitude, and all she wants to do is herd, herd, herd! Her appearance, although adorable, is slightly misleading because this little working dog is extremely handshy, and is still learning how important it is to come when your mama calls you. Without a fenced yard, she would be gone in a heartbeat. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, current with vaccinations. She chases cats but is easily called off. Two years old, she will be best with other dogs, and with a job to do. Fenced yard, herding dog experience, and time to train— this is what she needs. Are you interested? We start with an application from our website FOUND here: friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
